Ford Contour in Israel

The Ford Contour is the name under which the first and second generations of the Ford Mondeo were called in the North American market. The American Contour was distinguished by its well-equipped entryl-level version and a wide range of options, but it was not very successful. A more expensive version was produced as the Mercury Mystic. From 2000 to 2003, the European Mondeo, assembled in Mexico, was called the Contour (it was not delivered to the USA). The car was produced as a 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback. It was equipped with a 2.5-liter V6 engine and front or all-wheel drive. Almost all parts were interchangeable with the European Mondeo.
