Ford Escort (North America) generations

The Ford Escort (USA) is a compact car produced for the North American market from 1981 to 2003. It looked like its European "sibling", but it also had its own features, due to the market specifics. At first it was offered only as a 3-door hatchback, followed by a 5-door hatchback and estate. But the Focus model following the Escort conquered the whole world.
