Ford Explorer Sport Trac – overview
The Ford Explorer Sport Trac is Ford's first mid-size pickup for the North American market. The vehicle was produced for 10 years, from 2000 to 2010, and managed to receive two generations. The first models were supplied with a single 4-liter engine and two gearboxes to choose from. The entry-level version was rear-wheel drive, whereas an all-wheel drive system was offered for a surcharge. The second generation was distinguished by an independent suspension and rich equipment. The vehicle has always had only a double cab, which was a sign of personal, not commercial vehicles.
