Ford Focus RS – overview
The Ford Focus RS (Rally Sport) is a high-tech version of the popular Focus model, produced from 2002 to 2018. The sports car was positioned as more powerful than the ST version and, in fact, became a continuation of the Ford Escort RS 2000. The Focus RS was equipped with a 2-liter turbocharged Zetec-E engine, which developed 212 hp. The production volume of the first generation RS was limited, although it was sold in 21 European countries. In total, 4.5 thousand cars were produced in Germany.
