Ford Territory – overview
The Ford Territory is a mid-size SUV built by Ford Australia and introduced in April 2004. There were 5-seater and 7-seater versions with a third row of seats, as well as rear- or all-wheel drive versions. The Territory has received numerous automotive awards and was the first SUV to be named "Car of the Year 2004" by the Australian magazine Wheels. By the way, it was the first and only Australian-made SUV, as well as the first local vehicle with electronic stability control. The Territory's production ended on October 7, 2016. Since 2018, the SUV has been produced in China.
