Ford Zephyr - catalog and technical specifications
The Ford Zephyr is a middle-class car produced by Ford of Britain in 1950-1972. It was initially positioned as a more powerful version of the 4-cylinder Consul. The Zephyr was one of the first models to feature a MacPherson front suspension. In 1955, the manufacturer introduced an improved modification, the Zodiac. Until 1971, the Zephyr and Zodiac remained the largest Ford models in the UK and the last purely English Fords. Then they were replaced by even larger Consul and Granada, which were developed by the German branch.
