Honda Z – overview
The Honda Z is a subcompact kei car produced in 1970-1974 and revived in 1998. The first generation had a 0.4 liter engine with a capacity of 27-36 hp, whereas the second generation came with a 0.66-liter engine with 52 hp or a turbocharged unit with 64 hp. The first car was a 3-door hatchback, quite stylish for its era, and the second looked like a crossover version due to its high ground clearance. The engine was under the rear seats, but the most interesting thing was the Real Time 4WD system, which transmitted power to the front wheels, and, if necessary, could also connect the rear ones. The car was produced until 2002.
