Hongqi EHS7 in Israel

Hongqi EHS7 is a full-size all-electric 5-seater crossover from the premium Hongqi brand, part of the Chinese state-owned concern FAW. The second member of the newly launched New Energy family debuted in October 2024. The large 4.9-meter crossover with a 3-meter wheelbase is actually the “twin” of the EH7 sedan, the first-born of the New Energy line: built on the same FME platform, the exterior and interior are decorated in the same style and is driven by the same power plant. The main difference is that the EHS7 is taller and offers a more practical body style. Equipment includes a panoramic roof, hidden door handles and optional air suspension. In the cabin, virtual instruments (6 inches) and a multimedia touchscreen (15.5 inches) were installed, combined into a single trapezoidal body with rounded corners. There is a head-up display, facial recognition system and autopilot. The basic version with rear-wheel drive received a 344-horsepower electric motor, the top version with all-wheel drive received two electric motors with a total output of 619 hp. A battery with a capacity of 111 kW/h is enough for 680-730 km of range without recharging. Mass production of Hongqi EHS7 will start in January 2024.
