Infiniti Q45 – overview
The Infiniti Q45 is a full-size, rear-wheel drive premium sedan that was produced and sold from 1989 to 2006. It had three generations. Specially designed for the USA, the car was equipped with a powerful V8 engine and was originally based on a luxury model under the eloquent name Nissan President. The Q45 got its name from the "presidential" 4.5-liter engine with 287 hp. The name stuck even despite the fact that the second generation received a 4.1-liter engine. Released in 2001, the third generation was the first Infiniti with a laser autonomous cruise control system. The car was produced until 2006.
