JAC S1 (Rein) generations

The JAC S1 (Rein) is a Chinese SUV from JAC, also known as Rein, an analogue of the Hyundai Santa Fe Classic. The exterior of the model resembles the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. Its production started in China in 2007, and since 2011 the model has been produced in the Russian Federation. The vehicle came standard with a 2-liter engine, but the 2.4-liter engine by Mitsubishi was more popular. The engines were paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. A 1.9-litre diesel was also offered. The vehicle featured a McPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension. The JAC S1 was distinguished by a good level of equipment and a spacious trunk with a minimum volume of 776 liters.
