Jeep Liberty – overview

The Jeep Liberty is a compact 4-door SUV manufactured by Jeep from 2001 to 2012. The model proved to be very successful for the company, outselling even the Ford Escape in 2005 and becoming the best-selling compact SUV in the USA. This vehicle was the manufacturer’s first step towards the so-called "SUV with a human face” concept. Therefore, the Liberty turned out not to be attractive and perfect for off-road conditions. At the end of the model cycle, it was replaced by the Cherokee model.
