Lancia Lambda – overview
The Lancia Lambda was produced from 1922 to 1931. It was one of the most eye-catching Italian cars of its time, the first in the world to receive a monocoque body. There were different versions of the car, including racing and open-top ones, which were produced by different design studios. In 1928, the Lambda even took 3rd place at the then prestigious Mille Miglia races. The car was powered by a 2,120 cc engine with 49 hp. Next, the manufacturer added 2.4 and 2.6-liter engines with 59 and 69 hp. A total of 13,000 cars were produced, which was not bad at all for those years.
