Maruti Suzuki Gypsy – overview
The Maruti Gypsy (or Suzuki Gypsy) is a compact off-road vehicle produced by Maruti Suzuki since 1983. According to numerous rave reviews, this is the best SUV in India. The vehicle has a very simple design and is offered in soft top and hard top versions. The SUV features not very powerful engines producing up to 80 hp. But overall, the SUV easily handles the mountain roads of the Himalayas and the impassable off-road of South India. Interestingly, the Gypsy once won all the awards on the famous "Raid-de-Himalaya" track.
