Maserati 420 – overview
The Maserati 420 is one of the modifications of the Maserati Biturbo sports grand tourer, produced by Maserati from 1985 to 1994. The car became the first 4-door sedan that belonged to Maserati’s biturbo series. The 425 i, made for export, received a 2.5-liter V6 engine, while the 420, targeted at the domestic market, featured a 2-liter engine. The car was quite popular, as it was reliable, well-assembled and relatively inexpensive. In just three years, almost 4,800 units were produced.
