Exelero

Maybach Exelero - catalog and technical specifications

The Maybach Exelero is a unique two-seater all-wheel drive supercar in a coupe body, designed for advertising tires of the German company, Fulda. The tires could withstand speeds exceeding 370 km/h. The crazy concept car was made on the platform of the Maybach 57 limousine, made by the Italian company Stola in Turin. Unveiled in May 2005, the car received several unusual solutions: the exhaust gases were released through sills, and the ceiling, made of fiber optics, glowed. The maximum speed was 351 km/h, while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurred in 4.4 seconds. The 5.9-liter 12-cylinder engine with two turbochargers produced 700 hp and a monstrous torque of 1,020 Nm at just 2,500 rpm.
