Mazda R360 – overview
The Mazda R360 is Mazda's first passenger car. A 2-door, rear-wheel-drive sedan, produced from 1960 to 1966, cost $830. It was only 3 meters long and weighted only 380 kg. At the time, it was the lightest 4-seater car in the world. It is only natural that the charming R360 immediately became the most popular microcar in Japan. Stylish, compact and cheap, it was the perfect combination that eventually made the car a symbol of the company.
