Mazda Scrum - catalog and technical specifications
The Mazda Scrum is a kei class minivan produced by Mazda (Japan) since 1991. The vehicle is distinguished by a special engine layout: the engine is shifted back relative to the front axle, and despite the fact that it drives the rear wheels (there are also all-wheel drive versions), the car has a mid-engine layout. This feature serves to more stable behavior on the track. The longer wheelbase ensures interior comfort. The new Mazda Scrum is equipped with turbocharged naturally aspirated 3-cylinder engines, has a wide variety of configurations: with a standard or high roof, with a simple "wooden" interior or a comfortable version.
