Mazda Tribute - catalog and technical specifications
The Mazda Tribute SUV was developed jointly with the American company Ford, which produced a similar car under the name Ford Escape (Kuga in Europe). It was produced from 2000 to 2011 (in Asia and Russia until 2006). The 5-door Tribute combined the qualities of an SUV and the speed characteristics of a passenger car. It had a load-bearing body, an independent rear suspension and a front wheel drive with the clutch, which replaced the center differential and automatically transferred some torque (up to 50%) to the rear wheels. In 2011, it was replaced by the CX-5.
