Mercedes SLC – overview
The Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class is a 2-seater compact roadster with a hardtop produced by Mercedes-Benz (Germany). The letters "SL" stand for "Sport Light", and the letter "C" stands for compact C-Class. The SLC is the successor to the SLK-class, which was renamed simultaneously with the restyling that took place in 2015. Sales began in March 2016 and were associated with the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the SLK. The Mercedes SLC-Class was a restyled version of the third-generation iconic Mercedes-Benz R172. The car has received a new front end design, a fresh interior, modernized systems and improved equipment. Production ended in June 2020.
