Mercedes Vaneo – overview
The Mercedes-Benz Vaneo is a friendly family of versatile minivans produced by Mercedes-Benz (Germany) from 2002 to 2005. The name comes from the word "Van", which referred to minivans in German. Based on the A-Class, the new minivan was quite different from it: it was much longer, featured tilted windshields and sliding doors. The vehicle was equipped with front-wheel drive and 4-cylinder engines. It was five-seater as standard, but it could be made both 7-seater and single-seater, as removing the rear seats would provide 3,000 liters of cargo space. Despite all its uniqueness and ability to transform, the minivan was not well-received by the public. The Vaneo was discontinued in 2005.
