Mercedes W110 generations

The Mercedes-Benz W110 is a mid-size sedan or estate produced from 1961 to 1968. The car came to replace the W120 "pontoon series". It was nicknamed "Fintail" due to a very particular body shape (German: Heckflosse). Thanks to fuel-efficient 110 engines, the series has become extremely popular among taxi drivers. So the Berlin taxi driver Ralf Werner drove his clients for a long time in an ivory-colored car assembled in 1964. This Mercedes-Benz W110 was the oldest taxi in Berlin until 2008, when it was banned under a new law on the regulation of emissions.
