Mercedes W121 - catalog and technical specifications
Continuing the famous W120 "pontoon" series, the Mercedes-Benz W121 was produced from 1959 to 1961. The car was sold under the commercial name Mercedes-Benz 190 and had the same body as the 180 model, but it had a more powerful 1.9-liter 4-cylinder engine and a more luxurious interior. It was distinguished from the W120 series only by a chrome strip on the side lower molding. All the "Pontoon-generation" models looked very similar, featuring a special rooftop and front fenders integrated into the body. Unlike its predecessor, the Mercedes-Benz W121 received four attachment points for the front subframe, which made the car move smoother and more comfortable.
