The progenitor of the current Mercedes-Benz S-Class and SL, the Mercedes W188 was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1951. A series of luxury coupes and convertibles from Mercedes-Benz was based on the flagship model Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer. It was produced from 1951 to 1958. Like the modern S-Class, the Mercedes-Benz W188 was an elegant and expensive car. In total, 216 coupes, 203 convertibles and 141 roadsters were produced. The collectors are ready to pay a lot of money for this old and rare car.
