Mercedes W29 generations
The Mercedes-Benz W29 is a sports car produced by Mercedes-Benz from 1934 to 1936. “W29” was used as an internal designation, and the car was actually sold as the Mercedes-Benz 500K, where the letter "K" meant the compressor. The car received a powerful engine and a large number of different bodies to meet any needs of wealthy buyers. A total of 8 bodies and several different chassis were available. All models had a protective windshield, hydraulic brakes, and a 12-volt electrical system sufficient to power electric windshield wipers, door locks, and turn indicators. Compared to the previous generation of roadsters of the 20s, the Mercedes-Benz 500K became more comfortable, better controlled, which is probably why it was especially popular with women who wanted to drive on their own.
