The Mercury Capri is a front-wheel drive roadster that was introduced in the US market in 1991. The car was created by the Australian branch of Ford Motor. It was based on the Mazda 323. The Capri had a folding fabric top, 1.6-liter gasoline engines, and 4 seats, but the rear seats turned out to be too small. As for the engines, the naturally-aspirated version produced 102 hp and turbocharged one offered 133 hp. The car was equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, and versions with a naturally aspirated engine featured a 4-speed automatic transmission.
