MG MGB – overview
The MG MGB was a 2-door convertible sports car produced from 1966 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and later by the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland. This is one of the greatest cars ever produced by the global automotive industry. The exceptional beauty and harmony of the lines was complemented by a powerful V8 engine, which accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, which was an excellent result for a production car of those years. This was a carefully elaborated model that could still be produced, subject to modernization. But sadly, the MG MGB went down in history due to the automaker's management crisis in 1980. In 1992, the manufacturer tried to revive it for 3 years as the MG RV8. But it was already a different car.
