Mitsubishi Celeste – overview
The Mitsubishi Celeste is a compact 3-door hatchback coupe, released in February 1975, becoming another model in the Mitsubishi Lancer model range. The Celeste was sold in Australia, the United States, Canada and other countries under the Plimouth, Dodge and Chrysler brands. Initially, the coupe was available with 1.4 and 1.6-liter engines, followed by a 2-liter modification. In the American market, the car was appreciated by professional racers, who liked the aerodynamic body, low weight and strong suspension. The Celeste was produced until 1981.
