Mitsubishi Chariot - catalog and technical specifications
The Mitsubishi Chariot is a compact minivan produced and sold by Mitsubishi from 1983 to 2003. It was named in honor of the chariots of Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. The compact minivan had three generations. Starting from the second generation, it was equipped with 2 and 2.4-liter gasoline engines or a 2-liter turbocharged diesel engine. There were front- or all-wheel drive versions. The most powerful all-wheel drive option, unlike the other 7-seater cars, could also be a 5-seater. The vehicle was in demand not only in Japan, but also in the USA, Canada and Australia. In 2003, the Chariot was replaced by the Mitsubishi Grandis.
