Mitsubishi i generations

The Mitsubishi i is a subcompact 5-door hatchback produced from 2006 to 2013 in Japan. It was designed by Olivier Boulay. The car was distinguished by the egg-shaped only 3.4 meters long body that provided excellent interior space. The model had central-engine rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive layouts. The hatchback was equipped with a 660 cc 3-cylinder engine and a 4-speed automatic transmission. In 2009, the manufacturer used the Mitsubishi i in 2009 as the basis for one of the world's first mass-produced electric vehicles, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV.
