Mitsubishi Jeep J – overview
The Mitsubishi Jeep J is a compact SUV produced from 1952 to 1998 in Japan under license from the American company Willys-Overland motors specifically for the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. Initially, the SUV was a complete copy of the Jeep CJ3A, but over time, the vehicle received a new engine. Throughout its existence, the model had a total of 5 engines with a volume ranging from 2 to 2.7 liters. There were also three wheelbase options and different capacity options: from 2 to 9 seats. In 1998, the manufacturer released a limited edition of 300 vehicles, differing in body color and plates with individual numbers.
