Mitsubishi Toppo – overview
The Mitsubishi Toppo is a subcompact minivan produced by Mitsubishi Motors from 1990 to 2004 and again from 2008 to 2013. The vehicle was based on the Minica kei car, which meant a body length of 3.4 m and engines of no more than 660 cc. The name was a combination of two words: the English "top" and the Japanese "noppo" (lanky). The minivan did indeed have a rather high rooftop, which made it roomier. Moreover, there were all-wheel drive versions. The Toppo became quite popular. It even appeared in a computer game dedicated to kei tiny cars.
