Nissan Bassara – overview
The Nissan Bassara is a 7- or 8-seater minivan, an improved version of the Nissan Presage. Based on the Nissan R'nessa multipurpose vehicle as a competitor for the Honda Odyssey, it even had a similar silhouette. The vehicle was equipped with 2.4-litre gasoline, 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel and 3-litre gasoline engines. In 2001, the model was modernized, acquiring a gasoline engine instead of the diesel one. In addition to 9 versions, the manufacturer released the Highway star modification with a light aerodynamic body kit.
