Nissan Cima - catalog and technical specifications
The Nissan Cima is a luxury sedan manufactured by Nissan for Japan. The car's name is derived from Spanish for "summit". Its sibling in the Infiniti model range is called the Q70L. Introduced in 1988, a total of 120 thousand sedans were sold over the first 4 years in Japan. The second generation featured an active suspension. Interestingly, in 1999, the third generation sedan became the first Nissan car to be equipped with laser adaptive cruise control. The fourth generation premium full-size car was powered by a direct-injection engine with a maximum capacity of 280 hp. In 2012, the manufacturer released the fifth generation with a hybrid system that was updated only in 2021.
