Nissan Liberty – overview
The Nissan Liberty is a 7-seater estate-minivan with 3 rows of seats. Introduced in 1998, it was based on the third generation Prairie. The vehicle became the first model in the class of 2-liter minivans with a sliding door. The creators have provided both a front-wheel drive version with a Hyper-CVT transmission, and an all-wheel drive version with a 4-speed automatic transmission. During the restyling of 2001, the 4WD system was replaced with a more advanced All control 4WD.
