Nissan Mistral – overview
The Nissan Mistral is a body-on-frame SUV produced from 1994 to 1999. Japanese buyers could purchase the version produced in Spain. The design was developed in Italy, and the Nissan Terrano served as the technical basis. The SUV was sold as Nissan Terrano in Europe. It was equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged diesel engine with 130 hp. The Mistral offered excellent handling, speed and off-road performance characteristics. At first, the SUV had a 5-door body. In 1995, the manufacturer presented a shortened version.
