Nissan Prairie – overview

The Nissan Prairie is a compact minivan produced from 1981 to 2004. It is known as Nissan Multi in Canada and as Nissan Stanza Wagon in the USA. The car had folding rear seats and no strut between the front and rear doors. The doors were sliding. The second generation was sold in North America as Nissan Prairie, after which it was replaced by the larger Nissan Quest made in conjunction with Ford. In Europe, the Nissan Serena came to replace the car. The third generation was sold as Nissan Prairie Liberty in Japan and then was replaced by the Lafesta.
