Skyline

Nissan Skyline generations

The Nissan Skyline is a car that needs no introduction. The car, as well as its main developer Shinichiro Sakurai, made a significant contribution to the development of the brand. First introduced in 1968, the model became a hit in video games, appeared in various films and was even included in the Guinness World Records: 225 cars simultaneously took part in the parade in the UK, which was the largest number of registered Skyline models in one meeting. In various markets, the car was sold as the Infiniti G35 and later as the Q40. The Skyline GT-R sports version enjoyed particular success. Starting from the 8th generation, the car was equipped with all-wheel drive, and the 11th generation GT-R became a separate model. The current 13th generation is also a kind of record holder, because usually a generation change occurs every 4-5 years, but the last incarnation turned out to be so successful that it has been produced for 9 years.
