The Pontiac Torrent is a mid-size 5-door SUV produced by Pontiac from 2006 to 2009. The model received a rather interesting design of the front end, which made the SUV a frequent guest of various reality shows. Of special note was the 2008 Torrent GXP, positioned by GM as a low-cost alternative to the BMW X3. Moreover, the American model was more powerful.
