Porsche 924 generations

The Porsche 924 is a sports car produced by Porsche from 1975 to 1988. The 1973 oil crisis seriously affected the automotive industry, forcing Porsche to create a relatively affordable model (one and a half times cheaper than the base 911 model) from scratch. The Porsche 924 is the first car in the company’s history that had an almost traditional structure and not a traditional design. The car received a unique transmission concept, in which the engine was located in front, and the gearbox with the main pair was at the rear. A 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 125 hp provided the dynamics characteristic of the car, and at the same time, the Porsche 924 was the most fuel-efficient sports cars in the world.
