Renault Vel Satis generations
The Renault Vel Satis is a luxury car produced by Renault from 2001 to 2009. It was used by the French presidents as an official car until the last year of its life. The model is still used on some solemn occasions. The car was known of the lack of grace and elegance inherent in French models of this class. On the contrary, the Vel Satis looked very serious, which was partly due to the relatively high height of the cabin. Its engine, driving performance and safety level have always matched the high status of this car.
