The Rover P4 is a luxury mid-size sedan produced from 1949 to 1964. This car has become an integral part of British culture. It even was named "Aunty Rover". The sedan was popular with the members of the royal family, including Grace Kelly and King Hussein of Jordan, whose first car was a 1952 Rover. The Rover P4 was featured engines with a volume ranging from 2.0 to 2.6 liters and manual or automatic transmissions. In September 1958, the P4 series was supplemented with a new 3-liter Rover P5. In 1964, the model was replaced by the Rover 2000.
