The Saleen S7 is a mid-engined rear-wheel drive coupe, which was produced in small batches from 2000 to 2006. The car featured a spatial tubular frame inside and carbon fiber body panels outside. The car was equipped with Ford’s 7.0-liter V8 engine with 550 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The cost started from 450 thousand dollars, which was about 1.5 times more expensive than the Lamborghini Murcielago. In 2005, the coupe received two turbochargers, and engine power increased to 750 hp. It took the Saleen S7 TwinTurbo 2.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
