Spectre R42 - catalog and technical specifications
The Spectre R42 is a mid-engine, 2-seater, rear-wheel drive sports car, which has become the modern reincarnation of the Ford GT40. The model received a similar layout and proportions, but a redesigned monocoque. The name R42 paid homage to the original GT40: the GT40 was 42 inches tall and the "R" was short for designer, Ray Christopher. The appearance of the sports car combined elements of famous sports cars of the time, and the drag coefficient of 0.28 was considered the best in its class.
