Subaru Solterra – overview

The Subaru Solterra is Subaru's first electric SUV created in collaboration with Toyota. Released in Japan in November 2021, the model had a twin, Toyota bZ4X. The vehicle is 4.7 m long and is equipped with two engines, one on each axle, i.e. the Solterra, unlike the bZ4X, comes standard with all-wheel drive. This is an AWD X-Mode system that can handle a wide variety of surfaces. The power of the twin-engine unit reaches 218 hp. Production of the electric vehicle will begin in mid-2022. The model will be global: in addition to Japan, it will also be offered in Europe, China, the US and Canada.
