Tesla Roadster generations

The Tesla Roadster is an electric vehicle produced by Tesla from 2006 to 2012 and from 2017 to present. The model has two generations. The first generation was offered as a 2-door sports coupe. The Roadster is the first mass-produced all-electric highway vehicle to use lithium-ion battery cells and the first to be able to travel over 320 km on a single charge. This very model was launched into deep space by a Falcon Heavy rocket during a test flight on February 6, 2018. The second generation is a grand tourer sports car, also a 2-door coupe. But while this is only a concept, serial sales should begin in 2023. When the concept was unveiled in 2017, the Roadster was capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.9 seconds, making it the fastest production car in the sports discipline.
