Toyota Alphard - catalog and technical specifications

The Toyota Alphard is a luxury 5-door minivan produced by the Japanese automaker Toyota since 2002. There are 7 or 8-seater versions equipped with gasoline engines. In 2003, the manufacturer introduced hybrid modifications. The large minivan has rightfully been named after Alphard, the brightest star in the Hydra constellation. In 2015, the third generation was released, which was later restyled in 2017. The conventional and hybrid versions were equipped with 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines and a 3.5-liter V6 engine. The engine is complemented by a Sequential Shiftmatic CVT with six fixed gears and an electric motor on the rear axle, the E-Four all-wheel drive system. Average fuel consumption is 5.2 liters per 100 km. The pure gasoline version is also equipped with a CVT, consuming about 7.9 liters. The most expensive option features a 3.5-liter V6 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission, consuming 10.5 liters per 100 kilometers.
