Toyota Aristo – overview
The Toyota Aristo is a premium rear-wheel drive sedan produced from 1991 to 2004. The model was based on the Crown Majesta. The car was designed with the participation of Italian designers, so the car turned out to be a real beauty. The car was equipped with a 3-liter in-line naturally aspirated or turbocharged engine. The first one developed 230 hp, the second provided 280 hp. Then came a modification with all-wheel drive and an 8-cylinder V-engine. All versions were in high demand. The second generation of the 1997 model received a "four-eyed" optics a la Mercedes-Benz E-Class. It should also be noted that the Aristo's left-hand drive counterpart was the Lexus GS.
