Toyota Blade in Israel

The Toyota Blade is nothing more than a top-end variant of the first generation Toyota Auris hatchback. It was produced from 2006 to 2012. Visually, both cars were slightly different due to a different radiator grille, headlights and rear optics, but the Auris looked rustic next to the Blade. The chassis of the car was equipped with a double wishbone independent rear suspension, in contrast to the Auris with a primitive torsion beam. It also came with a more advanced 2.4-liter4-cylinder engine paired with a CVT-type gearbox with a 7-speed manual mode. For extreme driving, there was a 3.5-liter engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
