Toyota Harrier – overview
The Toyota Harrier was introduced in 1997 as a model for the Japanese market. The name means "hound" or "harrier", and this bird of prey serves as the emblem of the model. It is a luxury compact SUV known as the Lexus RX in export markets. The third generation was also sold in Malaysia and Singapore. The fourth generation was introduced in 2021. It is sold in China and conquers the United States as Toyota Venza. The modern Harrier is a stylish SUV with a 2 or 2.5-liter engine and a CVT. There are hybrid and all-wheel drive versions.
