Toyota Rush - catalog and technical specifications
The Toyota Rush is a compact SUV produced from 2006 to 2016. The name means "rapid movement" and "strong sensations". For some time, the vehicle took the place of the RAV4 SUV, which became larger and started occupying a higher position in the hierarchy. The Rush looked similar to the RAV4 SUV. But at its core, the SUV was a Daihatsu Bi-go model with Toyota nameplates. The vehicle was ready to conquer bad roads thanks to a permanent all-wheel drive system with a center differential and an electronically controlled lock-up clutch. The SUV was equipped with the latest 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which was powerful and fuel-efficient. There were manual and automatic transmissions. In 2017, the manufacturer released a new car with the same name in Indonesia, but it had nothing to do with the original: this was a Toyota Avanza compact van with the inscription “Rush”.
